Choosing the World Cup 2010 finalists isn’t as tough as it seems. After the group stages, there are certain teams who can not meet, so it is a matter of studying the groups and working out who you think will a)win the groups and b)finish second in the groups. From that point all the games are knockout stages.

We recently chose England as predicted World Cup 2010 Winner and so we sat down, studied the chart and the groups and worked out who they would meet in the final. Although Spain have a relatively easy group (Group H), they will meet a team from Group G – named the ‘group of death’, should they progress. However, we are predicting them to win Group H and so will play the runners up of Group G. We predict Brazil to top their group and so Spain would be up against Portual, Ivory Coast or Nrth Korea. Now, none of those will be an easy game for Spain but we think they have enough quality in their current side to overcome all three of those teams and progress t the next stage.
